Trump: For now, we do not intend to send troops to Iran
We are doing everything necessary in Iran. When the work is completed, the world will be safer.
This was stated by US President Donald Trump.
Trump noted that at this point the US does not intend to send troops to Iran: "We are not sending troops anywhere."
Speaking about the oil- and gas-rich island of Kharg, the American leader emphasized that the US could "destroy it" if it wanted to.
Continuing his thought, Trump stated: "If we want, the war will be over in two seconds."
He also added that he had warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against striking Iran's oil and gas facilities, and that Netanyahu promised to stop such attacks.
