The USA has spent over 27 billion dollars on the war with Iran
The cost of the U.S. operation against Iran has exceeded $27 billion.
This is claimed by the Iran War Cost Tracker portal.
The resource calculates in real time the funds required for personnel, ships, as well as other associated expenses. The calculation methodology is based on a Pentagon report to Congress, which stated that the first six days cost $11.3 billion, and each subsequent day would cost one billion dollars.
As Newsweek reports, the U.S. military operation against Iran is already consuming more money at its outset than the start of the invasion of Iraq in 2003. According to the outlet, the Pentagon has requested $200 billion from Congress to continue the campaign — $67 billion more than the George W. Bush administration sought 23 years ago.
