The United States Armed Forces fired 10-11 missiles at Iran's Qeshm Island.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the island's governor Hossein Amir Teymouri in an interview with the IRNA agency. According to him, all targets hit were military.

"All targets were military. Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of these attacks," Teymouri stated.

Meanwhile, Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing a U.S. administration official, reported on social media platform X that on July 12, the U.S. Armed Forces struck Iranian missile systems and air defense complexes, as well as Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) boats in the area of the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) released information stating that on the night of July 12, U.S. military forces struck approximately 140 targets on Iranian territory in response to an attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran launched missiles at American facilities in the Middle East. The interception of aerial targets was reported by the authorities of Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman.
