Azerbaijan expressed condolences to Pakistan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed condolences to Pakistan over the death of newborn infants in a fire in Islamabad.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated on the official page of the Azerbaijani MFA on the social network "X".
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, which resulted in the death of newborn babies. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those injured. In this moment of profound grief, we express solidarity with the government and people of brotherly Pakistan," the statement reads.
It should be noted that on August 26, at least 15 infants died as a result of a fire in the gynecology ward of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
