The US sank 16 Iranian mine-laying boats
The US launched a series of strikes against Iranian vessels, including 16 boats used for mining, amid reports of Iran's intentions to mine the Strait of Hormuz, through which oil-carrying ships from the region pass.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced on Tuesday, March 10, by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) on its official account on the social network X.
The destruction of Iranian minelayers near the Strait of Hormuz was also confirmed by US President Donald Trump on his social network Truth Social. CENTCOM in turn published a video of the strikes on the boats.
