The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have eliminated a commander from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who served as a coordinator in Hezbollah's missile forces in Beirut.

"The IDF attacked and eliminated IRGC commander Abu Mahmadi, who operated in Hezbollah's missile unit in Beirut," the army press service said in a statement.
According to the Israeli military, Mahmadi was a "key figure in military coordination" between Hezbollah and Iran.
