Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold a meeting on September 1, where they will discuss issues related to Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this was announced by the Russian President's aide for international affairs, Yuri Ushakov. According to him, this will be the first face-to-face meeting of the leaders this year, which will take place in China.
"After our Indian colleague, a conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is planned. The leaders are in constant contact and regularly communicate by phone," Ushakov noted.
He emphasized that during the negotiations, both issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda will be discussed. Special attention is planned to be given to the Ukrainian settlement, where Ankara plays a significant role, providing a platform for negotiations in Istanbul.
