Russian tourists began fainting on airplanes: what is the reason

A real drama unfolded in the cabin of a Southwind airline plane operating a flight from Antalya to Moscow. Passengers, including Russian tourists and children, began to lose consciousness due to severe stuffiness caused by non-functioning air conditioners.
As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by REN TV in their Telegram channel.
Shocking footage of the incident quickly spread across social media. The video captures exhausted people unsuccessfully trying to cope with the suffocating heat. Some passengers used leaflets as improvised fans, however, the effectiveness of such a cooling method is questionable.
According to the witness who recorded the video, the agonizing situation lasted for two whole hours. Only after this were the passengers finally led out of the overheated cabin into fresh air.
"An ambulance arrived at the scene, as passengers, including children, began to lose consciousness," the message emphasizes.
When the air conditioners were finally turned on and the engines started, a new conflict broke out on board, which escalated into a fight. The troublemakers had to be removed from the flight. Despite all the incidents, the plane still safely reached its destination.
