Putin responded to Trump's request

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a Security Council meeting that Kyiv, in order to implement US President Donald Trump's call to "spare Ukrainian military personnel," should order the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to surrender in the Kursk region. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Putin, if Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region lay down their arms, they will be guaranteed life and dignified treatment.
On Friday, March 14, US President Donald Trump reported on his Truth Social network that he had asked his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to "spare the completely surrounded" forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the White House head stated that there are high chances of resolving the situation in Ukraine.
