Russia did not consider any draft peace treaties on Ukraine, but only received a list of issues for discussion. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference after the CSTO Security Council meeting in Bishkek.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, according to Putin, after the negotiations in Geneva, the parties decided to divide the 28 points of the peace plan into four parts.

Putin noted that Moscow generally agrees to consider the list of US proposals on Ukraine as a possible basis for future agreements. However, according to him, the draft plan needs to be adapted to diplomatic language, as some formulations now look unserious.

The Russian President emphasized that Russia is ready to officially record the absence of intentions to attack Europe and is open to dialogue with the West on issues of European security and strategic stability.

Putin also confirmed that the American delegation will visit Moscow next week. According to him, Donald Trump will determine who exactly will be part of the delegation. Among the Russian participants in the negotiations, he named the Russian Foreign Ministry, Vladimir Medinsky and Yuri Ushakov.

Putin added that the intelligence services of Russia and Ukraine maintained contact even in the most difficult periods. He called the appearance of a US representative at the talks in Abu Dhabi unexpected.

Regarding the topic of Russia's possible return to the G8, Putin recalled that Moscow never asked to join this format: it was invited there. He emphasized that he had stopped attending G8 summits even before the 2014 crisis and that so far Russia has not received an official invitation to return to the group.
