Named the reason for Trump's refusal to go to Istanbul
US President Donald Trump has decided not to participate in the upcoming negotiations on Ukraine.
As reported by a "Fox News" channel host on air, the decision was made after certain circumstances.
"It became clear that Putin is not on the list of participants, after which American officials excluded the president [Trump] from the list of possible participants," the host said.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed direct negotiations with Ukraine on May 15. Istanbul was chosen as the venue for the negotiations.
It is worth noting that in 2022, representatives of Russia and Ukraine already met in Istanbul to discuss ways to resolve the conflict.
