Media: Iran struck Israel's capital
Iran launched a missile strike on the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
This was reported by the Iranian agency Tasnim.
"A new wave of Iranian missiles has reached Tel Aviv," the report said.
As a reminder, earlier Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the country's Defense Forces had launched a preemptive strike against Iran. The operation was named "Lion's Roar." Both countries closed their airspace. Later, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States was also participating in the military operation against Iran. As the Pentagon reported, the U.S. operation against Iran was named "Epic Fury." Iran, in turn, launched dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. The IDF confirmed the launches; sirens are sounding across the country, and air defense systems are active.
Iran also struck American bases across the Middle East — in Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. Iran named its operation "True Promise 4."
