Media: Iran rejected US ceasefire proposal
Iran rejected the US proposal for a 48-hour ceasefire.
This was reported by the Fars news agency, citing an informed source.
The source explained that Tehran did not respond to Washington in written form, but rather in the form of continued massive attacks.
"US diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire have intensified, especially after Iran struck a US military depot on the Kuwaiti island of Bubiyan," the agency's source added.
Earlier, Trump ordered a halt to strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure and power plants until April 6 amid negotiations with Tehran. Iran denied the very fact of conducting negotiations with the US.
