Manat exchange rate exceeds 25 Turkish lira for the first time
Today, for the first time in history, a record exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat (AZN) to the Turkish lira (TRY) has been recorded.
As Oxu.Az reports with reference to the data from the Central Banks of Azerbaijan and Turkey, one manat is now sold for 25 liras.
Note that according to the exchange rate announced by the Central Bank, one Turkish lira is worth 0.04 manats. According to the data from the Central Bank of Turkey, the purchase price of the manat is 24 liras 77 kurush, and the selling price is 25 liras 9 kurush.
Until now, the maximum exchange rate of the manat against the lira was 24.8 manats.
