The negotiation process between Iran and the United States on conflict resolution, taking place in Islamabad, is currently effectively frozen.
This is reported by Al-Arabiya, citing a Pakistani source.
"There is no talk of canceling the negotiations, but right now they are suspended, truly frozen. Continuing the negotiations requires concessions from both the Iranian and American sides," the report states. The Pakistani diplomat noted that progress in the negotiations is "very weak."
