The American military base "Al Minhad" in the United Arab Emirates was attacked by drones of the Iranian armed forces.

As reported by Tasnim, the attack was carried out in response to a U.S. military drone strike on Larak Island.

"Dozens of drones were launched at facilities at the Al Minhad base in the UAE, where U.S. helicopters and military personnel are stationed," the statement said.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), for its part, stated that the U.S. military "took limited and precise measures" against units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that were laying mines and creating a threat to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a CENTCOM post on the social network X, it was stated that Iran had created a threat, and the U.S. military eliminated it to protect civilian sailors, commercial shipping, and the free flow of global trade.

At the same time, CENTCOM called the IRGC's statement, which characterized the actions of the U.S. military as an "act of aggression," unreliable.
