Media: Navai released from pretrial detention center in Kazakhstan
Navai has been released from a pretrial detention center in Kazakhstan on bail.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Baza".
The rapper was detained on October 13 at the "Kordai" border checkpoint while entering Kazakhstan from Kyrgyzstan — 2.5 grams of marijuana were found in the driver's seat pocket. Navai himself, his manager, and the driver were in the car — all three were detained, but the manager and the driver were later released.
During interrogation, Navai admitted that he had bought the drugs in Bishkek. Shortly after the detention, he was arrested for two months. As a result, the rapper's concert in Astana, scheduled for October 14, was canceled, and other performances as part of the tour were postponed.
