Neither the authorities nor the Armed Forces of Iran have sent any proposals to the US regarding declaring a ceasefire.
This was stated by Yaqub Reza-zadeh, a member of the Majlis (unicameral parliament) committee on national security, as reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS.
Earlier, the Israeli portal Ynet claimed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a conversation with US presidential special envoy Steven Witkoff, conveyed the consent of the new supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba Khamenei, to engage in negotiations.
