iPhone 17 will become the most expensive in history

Apple Corporation will raise prices on its smartphones again. This is reported in the TrendForce report.

Analysts from the research company, based on insider information and forecasts, have predicted prices for the new iPhone 17 lineup. In their opinion, only the base model won't increase in price: the device will cost $799 - the same as the iPhone 16.

The new iPhone 17 Air, which will replace the iPhone 16 Plus in the lineup, will cost at least $1099. The cost of iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will increase by $100 compared to the current series devices - to $1199 and $1299 respectively. Thus, Apple smartphones will become the most expensive in the brand's history.

TrendForce specialists also predicted that the iPhone 17 will feature a 6.2-inch display with 120 Hz refresh rate support, 8 gigabytes of RAM and an A19 processor. The 17 Air model will retain a 6.6-inch display and 12 gigabytes of RAM. The flagship 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max will have 6.2 and 6.8 inch screens respectively and will get the new A19 Pro chip. The presentation of the new devices will take place on September 9.
