How will the next generation of people be called? Expert's answer

The generation of people who will be born after 2039 may be called "gamma". This assumption was expressed by the director of the Center for Sociology of Higher Education at HSE University, Ivan Gruzdev.

According to him, currently the youngest of the existing generations is considered "beta" - these are children born in 2025.

"Since it is customary to use Greek alphabet letters to designate generations - we already know about 'alpha' and 'beta' - we can assume that the next generation will be called 'gamma'", - TASS quotes Gruzdev.

Generation "alpha" includes people born from 2010 to 2024. They are growing up in an era of "smart" technologies and social networks.
