EU imposed new sanctions against Russia
The European Union has imposed sanctions on 16 educators and heads of youth organizations, as well as children's centers in Russia, including new regions of the Russian Federation.
This is stated in the Council of the EU regulation published in the "Official Journal of the European Union."
All of them are accused by Brussels of housing and working with children evacuated from the combat zone at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, which Brussels refers to as "illegal deportation."
The restrictions also targeted the Nakhimov Naval Academy of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Regional Branch of DOSAAF of the city of Sevastopol, as well as five children's centers in Russia, accused of housing children evacuated from the combat zone at the beginning of the special military operation, which Brussels refers to as "illegal deportation."
The blacklist includes the All-Russian Children's Center "Scarlet Sails" in Yevpatoria, the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok" in Tuapse, and other organizations.
Inclusion in the blacklist implies a ban on entry into the EU and the freezing of all assets in European banks, if any can be found.
