Erdogan warned of severe consequences of the Iran-US confrontation
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier held a phone conversation.
This was reported on the social network X by the Communications Directorate of the Turkish leader's Administration.
According to the information, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Germany, as well as regional and global developments.
Erdogan noted that the war in the Middle East has begun to weaken Europe as well, and if this process is not addressed with an emphasis on a peaceful approach, the damage from the escalation of the conflict will be much greater.
The Turkish leader added that Ankara, as in the case of Iran, is making efforts to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict through negotiations and the achievement of lasting peace.
