Erdogan met with Putin

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Ankara and Moscow will work on opening new nuclear power plants, in addition to the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey.

As reported by Anadolu, the Turkish leader said this during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek.

During the meeting, issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were also discussed.

Earlier, the head of Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, reported that the state corporation is preparing for the launch of the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey in the fall-winter of this year.
