Dud may be investigated for treason

Law enforcement agencies are considering the possibility of investigating blogger Yuri Dud's (recognized as a foreign agent media in the Russian Federation) actions for potential treason. This was reported by TASS, citing an informed source.
"Dud's actions may be evaluated under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," said the agency's source.
On July 22, Moscow's Basmanny District Court arrested Yuri Dud in absentia, accused of evading obligations stipulated by the foreign agents legislation. According to the court order, Dud will be held in custody for two months from the moment of his extradition to Russia or detention on the country's territory. The basis was a charge under Part 3 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code ("Malicious non-fulfillment of obligations stipulated by the legislation on foreign agents").
