Court arrests chief editor of Baza Telegram channel

By decision of the Zamoskvoretsky Court, Baza's editor-in-chief Gleb Trifonov has been arrested until September 20 on charges of bribery.

This was reported by "RIA Novosti" from the courtroom.

The court considered that he might flee outside the Russian Federation, obstruct the investigation, or destroy evidence.

Earlier it was reported that the evidence cited by the investigation in the case of Baza's editor-in-chief is his photograph from an ATM, taken in 2023 when he was depositing cash. To whom he later transferred the money is unknown.
