Ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia comes into effect

Ceasefire regime on the border territory between Thailand and Cambodia came into force after five days of military clashes.

The truce between the Asian countries was previously announced by the head of the Malaysian government Anwar Ibrahim following the negotiations between the acting Prime Minister of Thailand Phumtham Wechayachai and the head of the Cambodian cabinet Hun Manet, which took place in Kuala Lumpur.
