Cashier found an extremely rare coin worth 250 million dollars among change

In the USA, a gas station cashier found among the change an extremely rare coin with the image of President John Kennedy, worth 3.2 million dollars (249.6 million rubles). This was reported by Elcabildo.
Steve Whitmore was counting the day's earnings when he noticed strange 50 cents among the change. They differed from others in color. Whitmore contacted numismatists and found out that a rare prototype of a 50-cent coin with John Kennedy's profile from 1964 had made its way into his cash register.
Similar coins are still minted today, however, the one found by Whitmore was 90 percent pure silver. The artifact's special value comes from the fact that it was created shortly after Kennedy's assassination in November 1963. As a result, the coin was sold at auction for more than three million dollars. "The thought that one coin could be worth more than my entire business was something incredible," the American admitted.
