British YouTube blogger Max Fosh legally registered his own death to get a refund from Ryanair for an unused ticket. This was reported by Dexerto.

Max Fosh is known for his pranks and videos in which he finds and exploits various legal loopholes. He has previously attracted public attention when he became the richest man in the world for a few minutes or set up a huge welcome sign in the wrong city for arriving passengers.

In his new video, the blogger decided to take advantage of Ryanair's rule that a full refund for a ticket is only possible in the event of a passenger's death. Fosh discovered that the carrier requires a death certificate but does not specify in which country or jurisdiction it should be issued. To get back 37.28 pounds (about $51 dollars - "Gazeta.Ru"), he obtained an official document certifying his death in the Principality of Seborga in Italy.

After providing the certificate, Ryanair began the refund process. At this stage, the blogger's lawyer intervened, warning him against completing the operation. According to the lawyer, although formally such an act could not be qualified as fraud, in essence it was.

Despite the fact that Fosh himself considered his actions legal, as he was only trying to get his own money back, he followed the lawyer's urgent advice. In the end, the blogger refused to receive compensation and urged his viewers not to repeat such experiments.
