Another country has been hit by a strong earthquake

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Mindanao island in the southern Philippines.

This was reported by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

According to the data, the epicenter of the tremors was located 85 km southeast of the city of General Santos, which has a population of approximately 679,000 people.

The earthquake's focus was at a depth of 57 km.

No reports of casualties or damage have been received, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
