Alarming signals from Minsk: Is Belarus preparing for war with Ukraine?
Recently, Belarus's conducting of military maneuvers on the border with neighboring Ukraine, particularly the emphasis on nuclear exercises, has led to a further escalation of tensions between the two countries.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in a video material by Baku TV.
Against the backdrop of a sharp intensification of mutual military rhetoric, discussions have intensified about the renewed threat of an offensive against Ukraine from Belarusian territory, specifically targeting the country's capital, the city of Kyiv, which is located relatively close to the border.
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko regularly issues warnings about preparations for war. Moreover, such statements are made in the context of relations not only with Ukraine but also with the European Union.
Similar concerns are being voiced in Lithuania and Poland. Analysts note that if these or other similar scenarios are realized, the geography of the war will significantly expand. This, in turn, could effectively lead to Kyiv once again becoming an active combat zone.
