Earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 registered off the coast of Chile.
This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
According to their data, the epicenter was located 39 km north of the city of Coquimbo, where about 160,000 people live. The focus was at a depth of 38 km.
