A 6-point magnetic storm will break out on Earth today
A new magnetic storm is beginning on Earth, reports the British Geological Survey.
According to experts, on October 23, a coronal mass ejection occurred on the Sun, which is expected to reach our planet soon.
In addition, on October 28 and 29, two coronal holes will begin to affect the Earth. This will lead to an increase in solar wind speed and create conditions for a G2 level magnetic storm - disturbances reach this level when the K-index rises to 6.
It is expected that the influence of the coronal holes will gradually weaken after October 29, and by October 30 the magnetic storm will decrease to level G1.
