In the city of Amasya (Turkey), a tragic incident occurred - 32-year-old nurse Minecan Tek died from complications caused by the H1N1 virus (swine flu) in the same hospital where she had worked for the past four years.

The administration of Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin University Hospital, where the nurse worked, expressed deep condolences: "We mourn the loss of our dear colleague and express our sincere condolences to her family and the entire medical community."

The chronology of events developed rapidly: on February 6, Minecan went to the hospital with cold symptoms and was treated at home. Three days later, on February 9, her condition sharply deteriorated - breathing problems appeared. After hospitalization, tests confirmed the presence of the H1N1 virus. Despite emergency admission to the intensive care unit due to developed heart failure, the young woman's life could not be saved.

A farewell ceremony for Minecan Tek was organized at the hospital.
