A magnetic storm has begun on Earth
A weak magnetic storm began on the morning of June 27.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Gazeta.ru, this was announced by Mikhail Leus, a specialist from the "Phobos" weather center.
He reminded that Earth has entered a stream of hot and dense solar wind, which caused disturbances in the magnetosphere.
According to him, the storm is classified as G1 and has not yet reached the medium level. The activity index is 1.33 units. The storm is expected to last for several more hours and will begin to weaken in the second half of the day.
By Saturday, the geomagnetic situation should normalize. The forecasts for the next 2-3 days remain favorable, the meteorologist concluded.
