226 schoolchildren killed during US and Israel operation in Iran
Since the beginning of the US and Israeli operation in Iran, a total of 281 schoolchildren and teachers have been killed.
These figures are reported by the Iranian agency Tasnim.
"281 people were killed in the attacks, including 226 schoolchildren and 55 teachers," the report states.
It is noted that 191 people were injured as a result of the strikes, including 170 students and 21 teachers.
It should be recalled that on the first day of the operation, a girls' school in the Iranian city of Minab was subjected to US and Israeli airstrikes. According to available data, the death toll from the strike exceeded 165 people.
On February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, carrying out airstrikes on a number of cities. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israeli territory and also attacked American military bases in Persian Gulf countries. Due to the situation, several countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace. On the same day, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed as a result of the strikes.
It later became known that the US had sent Iranian authorities a 15-point plan for ending the Middle Eastern conflict.
