The YouTube channel The Infographics Show presented three most likely doomsday scenarios that could wipe humanity off the face of the Earth. This is reported by potokmedia.ru.

The first and one of the most frightening options is the mysterious "Disease X," against which science would be powerless. Creating a vaccine would be impossible, and the infection would spread slowly but relentlessly, destroying people one after another. The extinction of humanity in this case would become just a matter of time.

The second scenario is a global military conflict that would eventually escalate into a full-scale nuclear war. There would be nowhere to hide: some would die from explosions, others from the consequences: radiation, destroyed ecology, and drastic climate changes.

And finally - the impact of a giant meteorite. If such an object collides with Earth, everything would end in a matter of minutes. The impact would cause a powerful firestorm, waves of destruction, global tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. There might simply be no survivors.
