Named 5 counterfeit parts that will cause engine failure

Experts sound the alarm: the use of counterfeit consumables can lead to catastrophic consequences for your car's engine.
As reported by BAKU.WS, Russian expert Vadim Strelbitsky told "Gazeta.Ru" about this.
"The air filter plays a critical role in protecting the cylinder-piston group - abrasive dust penetrating through a low-quality filter rapidly destroys the cylinder wall and pistons. The inevitable consequences of using counterfeits are a significant increase in oil consumption and a dramatic loss of compression," warned the specialist.
Counterfeit oil filters are equally dangerous as they fail to trap metal particles. These abrasive inclusions freely circulate throughout the entire lubrication system, mercilessly destroying crankshaft bearings and other friction surfaces.
Counterfeit motor oils pose a real threat to the engine. They rarely meet the stated characteristics: they oxidize rapidly and do not provide the necessary protection of parts from wear. As a result, the cylinder-piston group and other engine components wear out several times faster than their intended lifespan.
A counterfeit fuel filter freely passes water and various impurities. This inevitably leads to corrosion of injectors and intensive carbon formation. Expensive repairs may be required much earlier than you expected.
Completing the list is an oil pump of questionable quality, which is often unable to create the necessary pressure in the system. This leads to insufficient oil supply to critical engine components. The result is the formation of scuffs and, in worst cases, complete engine seizure, the expert emphasized.
