A plasma eruption occurred on the Sun

A powerful plasma ejection occurred on the Sun, affecting several areas of the star at once. This was reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The complex explosive plasma ejection covered an area with a diameter of about half a million kilometers in the western hemisphere of the Sun. This is one-third of the visible solar disk. The main center of the explosion was active region 4168, currently located at a significant angular distance from the direction toward Earth. However, some of the secondary centers involved in the event are dangerously close to the Sun-Earth line.
According to available data, currently part of the matter and magnetic fields has moved toward Earth.
