Today "Qarabag" will learn its first opponent in the Europa League

Today, the draw ceremony for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2026/2027 season will take place.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the event will be held in Nyon, Switzerland, where the first opponent of Azerbaijan's representative in the tournament - FC Qarabag - will be determined.

Among the possible opponents of the Agdam-based club are Slovak club Žilina, Serbian club Vojvodina, Romanian club Universitatea (Cluj), Slovenian club Aluminij, Irish club Derry City, and Icelandic club Vestri.

The draw ceremony is scheduled to begin at 19:00 Baku time.

It should be noted that the first matches of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League will take place on July 9, while the return legs will be held on July 16.
