Nazim Sadykhov is already in Baku: Ready to make history again

Azerbaijani fighter Nazim Sadykhov, who is set to face Brazilian Mateus Camilo at the UFC Fight Night: Fiziev vs Torres tournament on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena, is already in Baku.

It is noted that the athlete was greeted by fans and loved ones at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Expressing his joy at returning to the capital, Sadykhov stated:

"I am very happy to be back in Baku and ready to make history once again. My team and sparring partners have also come with me. This week we will complete the preparation process, and next week the weigh-in phase will begin. Ten days of intense work lie ahead, and we intend to complete this preparation at the highest level."

Recalling his successful performance at the UFC tournament held in Azerbaijan in 2025, the fighter emphasized that this time his goals are even higher.

"Last year was very successful for me. However, this time I want to perform even better, to make everything more spectacular and memorable," he said.

In conclusion, the athlete nicknamed the Black Wolf thanked the fans for their support and urged them to come to the arena on June 27.

It should be noted that the UFC FIGHT NIGHT: FIZIEV vs TORRES tournament will take place on June 27 at the National Gymnastics Arena. In the lightweight division, our representative Rafael Fiziev and Manuel Torres will meet face to face in the octagon. In the second main bout in the middleweight division, fan favorite Sharabutdin Shara Bullet Magomedov and Brazilian Michel Pereira will test their strength.

As part of the tournament, Azerbaijani athlete Farman Hasanov will also step into the octagon. His opponent will be US representative Eric Nolan.
