FIFA referee from Azerbaijan Aliyar Agayev has been appointed for the Croatia - Faroe Islands match in the qualifying stage of the 2026 World Cup.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, the 38-year-old referee will be assisted by Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirli, while Elchin Masiyev will serve as the fourth official.
Portuguese Tiago Martins has been appointed for VAR, and his compatriot Bruno Esteves for AVAR.
Note that the match will take place on November 14 at the stadium in the city of Rijeka.
