Young man sets himself on fire over a girl in Azerbaijan

A resident of the village of Mahmudavar in the Masalli district, Jeyhun Jabbarov, born in 1993, committed an act of self-immolation because of a girl for whom he had feelings.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Teleqraf.com, the incident occurred in the Tovuz district.

After the incident, J. Jabbarov was taken to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed burns on 60% of his body surface.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
