When will the road on the Bagirov bridge open?

The delay in opening the road on the Bagirov Bridge, which was scheduled for August 28, is causing discontent among residents.

As Oxu.Az reports, this concerns the U-turn section on this bridge (from the "Koroglu" metro station to the city and in the opposite direction), where vehicle traffic is completely restricted.

Our editorial office has sent a request to the relevant structures regarding this issue.

Thus, the head of the public relations department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) Bakhtiyar Hajiyev stated that the major repair of railway tracks on the Baku - Keshla section, in the area known as the Bagirov Bridge, will be completed in early September.

"It is planned to open vehicle traffic on the U-turn section above the Bagirov overpass, located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in the Narimanov district of Baku (from the city center towards Aliyar Aliyev Street), on August 30. Traffic on the U-turn on the Bagirov Bridge (from the "Koroglu" metro station to the city and in the opposite direction) will open on September 1," he noted.

In turn, the spokesman for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (SAAAR) Anar Najafli emphasized that the structure has not yet received information on this issue.

"As soon as the information is received, a corresponding statement will be made for the public," he added.
