Students take the exam in the district (city) corresponding to the location of the school they are graduating from.

Students from schools in liberated districts take the exam according to the exam date of the cities and districts where their educational institution is located.

The exam for students of schools located in the Sabunchi and Khazar districts of Baku, as well as in Sumgait, Absheron, Shamkir, Jalilabad, Masalli, Khachmaz and Guba, is divided into 2 exam days (parts) and a "transition" is established accordingly. Note that on April 27, the State Examination Center will conduct a graduation exam for general (9-year) secondary education in the Sabunchi (Part II), Nizami, Khazar (Part II), Pirallahi districts of Baku city, Sumgait (Part II), Absheron (Part II), Nakhchivan, Goygol, Goranboy, Naftalan, Shamkir (Part II), Tovuz, Gakh, Balakan, Zagatala, Jalilabad (Part II), Masalli (Part II), Lerik, Saatly, Salyan, Kurdamir, Agdash, Khachmaz (Part II), Guba (Part II), Barda, Terter, Agdere, Lachin, in special educational institutions of Baku city (boarding schools, schools in correctional facilities), as well as for graduates of educational institutions with instruction in English and Georgian languages.
