In Azerbaijan, a man beat his wife and then hanged her

A suspect in the murder of a young woman has been detained in Nakhchivan.

As Oxu.Az reports, law enforcement agencies received information that a resident of the Sadarak district, Aytaj Ibrahimli (born in 2000), committed suicide by hanging herself at home.

However, during the operational investigation, police and prosecutors established that the cause of her death was deliberate murder. According to the investigation, her husband Azer Ibrahimli (born in 1992), as a result of a family conflict, inflicted injuries on his wife and then killed her, staging it as a suicide.

The suspect has been detained and handed over to investigative authorities. A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, and the investigation continues.

It is known that 25-year-old Aytaj Ibrahimli was the mother of two children, the youngest of whom is only three months old.
