As reported by AZERTAG, this was stated in the congratulatory message of President Ilham Aliyev to media representatives on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Azerbaijani national press.

It also notes that the modern dynamics of our country's development has contributed to the growing weight of Azerbaijani media in the global information network and increased their competitiveness.

"In the upcoming period, factors such as improving media literacy, applying the most advanced communication technologies, implementing effective and flexible communication, increasing activity on social media platforms, digitalization, applying artificial intelligence, combating disinformation and fake news will play a leading role in further strengthening the position of our national press in the global information space," emphasized the President of Azerbaijan in his congratulatory message.
