Important news for the population: home registration is restricted in these areas

In Azerbaijan, the issue of legalizing undocumented houses built on agricultural lands in Absheron is at the center of authorities' attention.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the chairwoman of the board of the State Cadastre and Real Estate Registry Service, Nigar Alimova, in her comment to journalists.

According to her, a significant portion of such houses is located in the territory of Khyrdalan and the settlement of Khokmali. In some cases, there are municipal documents for these properties, however, numerous residential areas are actually classified as agricultural lands.

Alimova added that the documentation process in areas with mass development of individual residential houses on the Absheron Peninsula will only become possible after changing the land categories in accordance with the law.

"Registration of property rights in areas where individual residential houses are located will be carried out after making the necessary changes to the legislation," emphasized the head of the Service.
