Good news for recipients of benefits and pensions in Azerbaijan

"Pension has always been higher than allowance. Because a citizen worked in their time and paid insurance contributions from their income, and in the future is provided with a pension in accordance with these insurance contributions. If a person has not made any contribution to the State Social Protection Fund, that is, did not pay insurance contributions or worked for a short period of time, and they did not qualify for a pension, they are paid an allowance for social assistance purposes".
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the director of the pension department of the SSPF Eyvaz Ismailov in his interview with İTV.
According to him, in accordance with the president's order, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to review the amounts of allowances:
"A three-month deadline was given. Three months have already passed. Probably, from April, a review of these amounts and an increase in allowances and pensions is expected".
