Delay in the Baku metro: what caused the disruption

This morning there was a delay in train movement in the Baku metro.

In response to Oxu.Az's inquiry, the press service of Baku Metro CJSC reported that the train driver at the "Ahmedli" station discovered an obstacle when opening and closing the carriage doors and conducted an additional technical inspection.

"After finding a foreign element between the doors, the driver eliminated the problem. Then, in accordance with safety requirements, the train was monitored on the line without passengers. However, due to the technical inspection of the train and additional checks, there was a 3-minute delay in the movement interval. A reserve train was deployed to the line, and the difference in intervals was eliminated in the shortest possible time," the press service statement said.
