Attempted kidnapping of a 13-year-old schoolboy in Khyrdalan

This morning, a shocking incident occurred near School No. 1 in the city of Khyrdalan. An unknown man attempted to kidnap a 13-year-old boy who was returning home after classes.

As musavat.com reports, the child's mother told about this.

According to her, the incident happened early in the morning not far from the educational institution. When the boy was walking home after classes, a car approached him. A man in the car tried to forcibly drag the child inside, but the teenager managed to dodge and run away from the attacker.

"My son said that they had something like a towel in their hands, they wanted to grab him and push him into the car," the boy's mother said. She noted that her son had bruises on his arm and wrist.

The woman immediately reported the incident to the police. She also noted that there are surveillance cameras installed in the area of the incident, the recordings from which will be examined during the investigation.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan confirmed that an investigation is underway regarding this fact.

It is worth noting that in recent days, videos and news about child abduction cases have been circulating on social media. However, the police stated that these footage are old and do not reflect the real situation.
